Is there a dog actor’s strike or something? Why didn’t they use a real one? That cgi looks fake as hell.

I can see that there are likely benefits to using a CGI dog for the movie, but I cannot imagine watching this movie without being constantly distracted by the fact that it’s so obviously a CGI dog.

Honestly people like using the word “dragnet” entirely to much to paint cops as doing a bad thing.. They had a short list of suspects, and followed procedure.
