So you think they are just going to use the new plant for export builds? I really hope not. I know they are late to the game with them just releasing their first electric car (MX-3), but I hope they stick around. Been driving only Mazda for over 15 years now. Love the style, drive experience and lack of issues.

Glad Mazda is doing well. Was not sure if they’d survive. Dropping the 6 surprised me, as I thought they’d be the last manufacturer to get rid of their signature sedan. But I guess the success of the CX-5 is what’s sustaining them.

Really? I have a 2014 Mazda6 and we regularly get 30MPG mixed. My 2016 CX-5 gets about 27 mixed. I can’t imagine how he’s getting F150 gas mileage out of a 6. If you call Mazda customer service, they can be a big help, and will even authorize dealers to make out of warranty repairs for free. They have done that for me…
