Just put your finger on the word you want to change until it is highlighted blue. Then you can delete it. And if you are typing something like adhd and it is suggesting other words, tap the adhd that pops up on the left. That tells the phone that it is a valid work and it won’t autocorrect it later.

The whole comment system is screwed. They need to get rid of the grey/not grey divide and make it so when you go to check your notifications, it actually takes you to the conversation and not just the page. Had to scroll forever just to find this to reply.
