Sometimes I wonder if they won’t build more just to inflate demand? The one near me is newer with a huge parking lot and a 2 lane drive through, and it still gets overwhelmed. What are they so slow to expand? They basically print money, so I can’t imagine that they don’t have franchisees lined up.

Are you from Jersey? The traffic in the area this store is at is insane on even a good day. Add to that people stopped in traffic for the takeout line, and someone is going to get killed in an accident.

Because the writers don’t read the comments, and they are the only ones who can pull you out of the greys permanently. If a person out of the greys likes your comment it will be pulled from out of pending, though. But just that comment. Otherwise, you’re shit out of luck. It’s always been this way.

Lol You can buy a house in holiday city for 125k, not exactly Richville.

I bought a New Prelude back in 1989, and then started seeing the 240SX around town. Regretted buying the Prelude instead of that, especially since the Prelude ended up being a lemon. Sold it after 18 months, and realized a sports car was practical for a musician, so got a Cherokee. Those 240SX were gorgeous.

That would be Massachusetts you’re talking about

The pillar is called a bollard. And damn folks, just go to Chik-fil-a

My brother had a black kitty named Java that was so ugly as a kitty, but turned into such a cutey. I’m allergic, but even I miss her.

Seriously! I mean, c’mon, of all the things to get pissy about, having someone direct the fighters in a zombie battle should be at the bottom of the list.

The New Politics album has that terrible Imagine Dragons feel to it. Everyone thinks that is what you have to do now. Nothing like their earlier stuff.

Good lord, what a freaking mess. Thank you for the info, I guess I will join the Discord.  I don’t do social media so I’m felling a bit lost about what’s happening. And the break neck speed of Deadspin getting shut down blew my mind.  I never got out of the grays anywhere but Jalopnik, but I still had great

It can be crazy tough but use Zillow and realtor.com to rule out houses before you go.  We looked at almost 60 houses before we walked I to one, and new it was it.  Bought it the next day.  It can be exhausting but it’s worth it when you finally find “the place”.

Did I miss something else? Have they started culling writers from the other sites too? I regularly visit all the sites, but I got so pissed about Deadspin that I haven’t been on much this week. I am still kinda in disbelief about them dismantling two of the sites already.

Dang, on two cars? That’s crazy

When I bought my Miata this year, I really liked the one I test drove, and when I came back to make the purchase, they told me it had been in an accident on the lot (someone backed into it and they had replaced the whole rear bumper.) We checked it out, and I didn’t like how they had repaired it, didn’t line up great.

Thank you. RIP Deadspin.

I just don’t get the love for It Follows. It bored the shit out of me.

What? Did you write about this?

They sent a “stick to sports” memo to the writers. The writers responded by posting only non sports stories. Late yesterday they fired Barry the lead editor for “not sticking to sports”. No new articles today.

I think this is turning into a wake for Deadspin. Can’t believe they fired Barry. I have been coming here for longer than I can remember, even thought I never managed to get out of the grays. The silliness mixed with serious coverage is always what made this site unique. Sports do not exist in a bubble. Grow up and
