Wow, spoilers.
Wow, spoilers.
Garth Marenghi is all on Youtube!
They should have ended it with the Empress unleashing the augment virus causing the Klingons to rush home and Starfleet covering the whole thing up.
That’s a kind of weird thing to say about Barks, who wrote a lot of comics where the danger is real and threatening.
Poor Steve.
What the hell?
I’m honestly kind of glad they didn’t, “Rockerduck” always was a bit on the nose, and exact puns like that tend to work against creating an original character.
I really appreciated how not-horrible Abby’s parents are, just genuinely worried.
This week on: Big Mike is still the best....
Did you ever watch Star Trek before? Even one episode?
About 15 years above it all, too.
They’re not, but this was a long time coming, even before Pratchett’s death. It’s not like he’s co-opting this suddenly after Pratchett’s death.
Pratchett being involved now seems a bit hard to accomplish, doesn’t it? If he trusted Gaiman on this, I’m fine with it. Recent Gaiman adaptations turned out well.
This always feels like a nasty kind of argument and making a dichotomy for no real reason. Good Omens is as much Gaiman’s child as it is Pratchett’s, and while it sucks that Pratchett isn’t around to help himself, Gaiman would always obviously have been involved. American Gods turned out well, too.
Yeah, that’s the only piece of casting that really doesn’t work so far. Newt needs to be much more scrawny nerd.
They did, they’ve been cast. http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2017/good-omens-casting-3?lang=cy
Yeah. Some of the adaptations so far have been *okay* (Going Postal especially had some great casting), but they never really work that well. That Watch series idea that’s been thrown around doesn’t sound bad, though, but the tone is so very specific and hard to get right.
None of the recent reviews seem to be showing up anywhere, which is fun. Had to click on Erik’s name to find it.
So, Vincent is dying before the end of the season, right? Everything is going way too well for him, and they’ve got a back-up Franco.
Yes, I was thinking of the Expanse throughout this, what with the biological, fairy dust secret super weapon.
