I had one of these handed down to me as a teenager. Thank god it had the Iron Duke and not the quad 4. The duke took everything I threw it at,and was all Come at me bro, that the best you got?

that's a beautiful truck! my grandpa had a two tone blue one just like that. i remember the first time i got to drive it while we were at the lake during summer vacation. it was summer of 89 and I hadn't hit 14 yet. i

I gave one of my younger brothers(I have 3) a blue car looking in about the same shape,it had 92,000 on it when we transferred the title, 4 years later when he sold it for 1200 it was beat down rode hard and put away wet with 125k. the 3800 would still start up right away and deliver 18-25 mpg consistently. the

if it's The Merc you have hit the hand me down car jackpot, not just merely bonus points.

whew!thank goodness I dont know what came over me.that must have been myself or I talking cause me would never do something like that,(It's crowded in my head)

Stef you said "bless your little heart" that is so much Awesomesauce I can't even begin to describe it accurately. The appropriate words do not exist in the English language (so I just make stuff up as I go along). Wanna get married? LoLz!

this was frickin hilarious! thanks for the heads up! i can't believe my Google Fu was so weak

im not even half way through the comments for the rest of this article and i'm putting a 2nd bag of popcorn in the microwave.

after making it maybe 1/3 of the way down this thread i was thinking "get the popcorn its gonna be a good internetz throwdown! royal rumble style. continuing on I was not disappointed. this was entertaining. and i now have a bag of Pop Weaver's in the microwave so i can properly read the rest. Keep up the good work!

Is this tire low?

Is this tire low on Pressure?

hopefully the little bastard will never be able to get a DL. feeling Joe Walsh Life's Been Good vibe. my Maserati does 185 I Lost my liscense now I dont' drive

I'd go full on Rockstar in a Pantera. I'm talking Charlie Sheen size mountains of cola and any/all other available recreational pharmaceuticals that happen to cross my field of vision then proceed to drive the Pantera for the remainder of the rental period.

130 on a ramp? you weren't flogging it hard enough, with the v 12 on the ramp 150 shoulda been nothing but a line in the rearview which you only became aware of cause you were looking back at it. my 88 944 hit 120 in 4th right around 5500 rpm, which as we all know is short of the 64oo redline, getting on I-240 at

I'd love to get one as well, and weld the doors shut... for real.

ont the way back to the City I only got 32 mpg to this day i STILL blame the Pennsylvania turnpike for it abhorrent road construction practice. It was the absolute worst experience I've ever dealt with in 25 years of driving.

dat Autobra! had one on my Pony Express Monte Carlo to hide the slightly crunched right front fender.

okay I didnt think about that detail. my bad yo. ill do better next time

I'd say you got a bad one. the 3800 in my '98 Bonneville had 0 of those qualites. set the cruise on 75 and enjoy the drive. averaged 36 mpg from OKC to Dover, Delaware.

those old 318's are insane, i helped pull one out of an imperial, I think, and put it step dad's old tradesman work van.the old man had less than $300 total spent on the entire van, we loaded 150 boxes of 12inch VCT in the truck and drove from OKC to San Antonio doin 80+ most of the trip 2 quarts low on oil.(the
