Thanks for that enlightenment.

“When you docked, did you notice a sign on my starbase that said ‘Dead Klingon storage’?”

Billy Madison

That song is horrifyingly racist, but as we can see with the Washington football team people don’t pay much attention to racism against Native Americans.

Oh yeah, I remember watching Peter Pan when my oldest was little and me and my wife looking at each other and being surprised neither of us remembered how bad this was.

That’s cool man, so this is a very wordy advertisement for your video?

WAIT, SHE DIES?! SPOILER ALERT DAMMIT!

Could someone sum this up for me in writing? The subject matter really interests me but I don’t have time to watch a 45-minute video about it.

Uneducated take, perhaps. Not for you? Absolutely acceptable there.

This is a perfect comment that is a microcosm of the state of “debate” today.  It’s all about extremes--there’s no common ground, no compromise, no meeting each other half way.  If you’re not this then you’re that, and never the twain shall meet.

Why would there be?

You don’t have to pat him on the back, but I don’t see why you have to punch him in the stomach instead.

Andy Samberg wasn’t asking for a pat on the back for a joke. He’s a comedian. He made a joke. He’s not trying to run a civil rights movement.

I love whenever a comedian is in the news because it inevitably followed by a bunch of “he isn’t funny” comments.

Thor’s big damn hero arrival in Wakanda, with that wonderful Avengers theme soaring in the background, was definitely the inspirational high point of the movie, and Banner’s, “Oh, you guys are screwed now!” was the biggest laugh line in my theater.

I agree, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Ragnarok. That movie gave the character of Thor a personality and an identity. Having IW come so soon after Ragnarok was perfect timing.

Thor’s a big part of what makes the first Avengers work, too. His first appearance there, and the ensuing fight with Iron Man, is the moment that movie fully won me over. And of all the jokes in all the MCU, none crack me up quite like Hemsworth quietly insisting “He’s adopted” after hearing an account of Loki’s

If you had told me after the first Thor that Chris Hemsworth would end up anchoring a massive crossover superhero movie with his comedic timing and emotional range, I would have been...skeptical. But he was almost the MVP of Infinity War. I was stunned, even after enjoying the hell out of Ragnarok.
