I believe Skurge has some friendly advice on why space travel is highly overrated. Something about it being “disease and danger wrapped in darkness and silence”? 

Can you imagine it? Tony Shalhoub just Eddie Murphy-ing his way through it, playing men, women, young and old.

Frakes was basically Roddenberry’s protege in the early TNG days and later graduated to being the team leader of the cast. On top of directing the two best TNG movies, he basically embodies the spirit of the old guard. Not that it’ll likely make a difference, but that’s why it’s a big(ish) deal.

Uh... what? Khan isn’t an action movie. It’s a Hornblower-esque naval war movie. Not really the same sphere at all.
