Hell, that's the nicest thing anyone has said to me in at least three weeks.
I shall toast your good health with my next 5 or 6 whiskey sours, ma'am!
Is...is this a documentary?
I've had similar conversations on the brow in a new port.
I had no idea we were being filmed!
Well, yes. We, as a group, assume that King Neptune is attended by strippers as part of his royal retinue.
I just...nope.
I was a sailor for 10 years we blew more than $40 in the first half hour.
They are going to ruin that club's night.
I love how she considers herself part of a 'safe crowd' that the strippers will be happy to see.
HA.
The strippers were happy to see corrupt, jaded, chauvinistic pigs like the lot of sailors I…
Well, sure, I expect a self-described Patriots fan to lowball this.
Lowball. Heh.
It makes me regret taking for granted some of the Shuttle launches when I was growing up in Florida and gets me nostalgic for the time when the United States of America had a manned space program, much less one that was second to none.
Or maybe a dumbass ran out onto a race track while a race was going on instead of seeking safety over the wall or staying in his car in order to thump his chest and was run over in reward for his stupidity.
Ah sweet Lord why did I have to read this at work?
Now I have to find some way of wiping my eyes without looking like that's what I'm doing.
I've been hearing for decades now that cheaper made Soviet/Russian crafted armor/weapons/planes/subs/ships/missiles are superior to their Western counterparts and yet it all falls apart for the Bear the first time they meet in combat (usually driven or used by a satellite state or buyer).
Funny how that works.
Yes, "The Nine Billion Names of God" was the short story, and has a fantastic twist ending. The imagery created by the last few sentences is shivery fun.
I'm sure you were just put on a supervillain watch list with that comment, sir.
She is lovely yes she's sly
I take you have never read, "The Longbow Hunters" that came out in 1987, then?
Have you ever read, "The Longbow Hunters" series in the comics with Ollie and Shado? If you have, this current "Arrow" may make more sense.
That's no so. The Legion is probably most famous for the extraordinary number of Last Stands they have had. They are not in the habit of surrendering, however much the rest of their cheese-eating surrender monkey comrades in the French military are fond of it.
I won't ever have a full sized truck that doesn't have a Ford, Chevy or Dodge. I just now had to retire a Dodge Ram 1500 after 18 years of faithful daily-driving service. Before that was my F-150 with 470,000 miles on it.
Fantastic reference, sir!
