Maybe…it sure makes Ragnor's death sting that much more…really looking forward to Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and a few other shows now that Vikings storyline as well as the lack of quality character development has lost me…I'm very sad.

We all "knew" the tales…but writers take many liberties. This show is not a Documentary…John Snow died…but didn't stay dead…writers choose which direction to take…if they want to waiver or take liberties…they chose to kill off THE only MAJOR character on the show before any of the other characters had built up a fan…

Lagertha is the only character left on the show worth watching…however, a lot of her worth as a character dealt with her relationship with Ragnor…and now that doesn't exist.

The difference in GOT and Vikings is that GOT has many well developed characters. Vikings killed off their only MAIN character. GOT has been smart enough to not kill off a couple of their characters that carry the show…yes they kill off key characters…and that's sad…but they continue to develop other…
