I had asked that and the cops say they didn't see another car drive away. I'm thinking they did the damage while repo/stealing it and used this mystical rear end crash to try to cover it up. But, since I wasn't there it's now just a he said/she said thing.

Because they hadn't 'legally' been served the papers from the bankruptcy court yet. So, even though they knew I was in the middle of filing by both me and my attorney, until they had those papers actually in their hands...my car was fair game.

I had a cousin who lived a ways away from me. I would be driving her home on the freeway and of course have to change lanes occasionally. If she saw me indicating and looking over my shoulder she’d start to do the same.

I had a person do that to me once when I worked at a fast food place. Since I technically didn't get the money, I called the cops with his license plate for a dine and dash. He was still in the parking lot as were 2 cruisers. I let him explain to the cops why he just threw the cash on the ground.
