It’s prudent to keep in mind that every Republican in Congress is on the dole of the NRA, but only a single Democrat out of 240. This problem can be addressed - the better, the fewer Republicans hold office in Congress and at a state level.

I had a look at the 200 largest corporations in the world by market capitalization today. Of the just half a dozen British corporations on that list, all but one were in finance.
