Still a good engine. I wonder what they did with it. I'd love to shove that forced I6 into my countryman. I'd make it fit.

Add that to the list of "Cars that sound better than a 2014 F1 car".

I'm pretty sure that's a 135i dude. At least that's what the article says.

Guys! The car I filmed is based on a 135i, not a 1M coupe!!!

It was a 135i they converted. Guys from Moscow

For fun, I looked up the weights of the N54 (the Turbo Straight 6 that's originally in the 1M coupe) and the S65 (the E92 BMW M3's V8 engine). Took me a while to find the weight of the N54 but supposedly in the 1M form it's around 418 lbs w/ manifolds. The S65 V8 is 445 lb w/ manifolds.

I got the S65 weight from

Also could be "That's Forza comes into real life!"

The V8 in this car is a not considerably heavy 4 liter and the original M// car (E30 M3) was a 4 banger. Also, the E82 V8 was one of the smoothest revving M engines ever produced.

All the gusta.

Very cool. I worry this would ruin the balance of the car, though. The 1M was a perfect lightweight (relatively) handling car. I worry that adding in a ton of power and a lot of extra weight up front would ruin the feel of the car. Just like everyone making monster V8 Miatas. Sure, they sound wonderful and have tons

The automatic transmission, of course.

These stupid tacked on port holes...

Here's the new R8:

Yawn...

That clearly was a draw. Try again with a Volvo..

Or unless you have the self control to drive the speed limit and not at 'the' limit.....
