Although this car is POS and has less power than my Honda Odyssey, it probably is worth the price. If one were to buy it for $20K, drop another $5-10K in maintenance / repairs / restoration, garage it and occasioanlly drive it for 10 years or so, one would most likely make a return on their money. Eventually. And in

The Ludicrous Mode upgrade solves that.

Right? My iTunes library is closing in on 200 GB. I have it (along with everything else) backed up on three redundant 2 TB hard drives.

There’s been several Model X mule sightings around the Bay Area recently. You can see pictures and videos in the Tesla forums. It looks like the “grill” has been reshaped to blend in better. It’s also now body colored to further blend in. This revision may also be translated to the Model S. We’ll see.

Great job learning to ride! I must comment on this part of your article, though:

2008 Triumph Daytona 675 custom painted in the Gulf livery.

The rule in our house is that you always have to have at least one vacation planned out. This means that there are several times throughout where we have more than one vacation planned. There is nothing worse than coming back from a nice vacation and not have another one to look forward to!!

Cars should have front and rear electric motors with gear reducers connectoed to a big battery. That way, you won’t need oil pressure gauges, timing chains, dipsticks, automatic transmissions, spark plugs, valves, cam shafts, manifolds, etc, etc.

Absolutely. We love our 2008 Honda Odyssey EX-L. We bought it when it was five years old and had ~50,000 miles. It was almost half the price of a new one and still in excellent condition. We drive the shit out of it now and will continue to for the next ten years or so.

That’s what we call it here in the Bay Area, as well. It’s Whole Paycheck. I don’t know WTF this Whole Check crap comes from but get it right, will ya!

My 7th Gen 2005 Civic EX SE came with rear drums. I couldn’t believe it. I eventually swapped them for some discs off of a 2003 Si. They bolted right up.

Another vote for Fenix. Their selection is top notch. My personal choices are the TK-22 and TK-41.

Think I might have to go down to SF Pride just for the vibe alone. That place is going to be off the chain!!!

Cable TV. Because of course.

The Full Intention Remix of this track is the knock!

No bottle opener? One must always have a bottle opener.

I agree it’s not ideal, but it’s worth it to have Spider-Man part of the MCU. The two existing franchises were never going to work, so it only made sense to reboot. I think it will be great.

At this rate, I wonder how much Jezebel is paying Rachel Dolezal.

It’s an interesting idea. One issue I see is that street lights are likely only wired for limited amount of power, probably less than 5kW. This means that the charging will be slow. Tesla superchargers, for comparison, charge at around 100 kW.
