I'll just echo what CFH already said. Max heart rate equations are meaningless for individuals. They only really apply to the averages across a population. If you want to know what YOUR max HR is, you need to do a personal test, as described.

According to the pictures here http://www.honda.co.uk/cars/campaigns…/ this car looks awesome. I can't believe we won't be getting it here in the U.S.
It will probably still leak oil.
You left out Dr. Dre will release Detox.
My friend (who is also a DJ) loves Robin S. His wife surprised him by hiring Robin to perform at their wedding. I was actually DJing the event for them that night. When she came out and did her set, he completely flipped. She got the crowd totally hyped and I had the pleasure of following her and kept them going…
I don't remember any 924 having flared fenders and a hood scoop. That looks more like a 944 to me.
Thanks. I appreciate the response. Take care.
Wow is right. Sorry you're having such a bad day, man. Or maybe it's a bad life. As Master Qui-Gon said, your focus determines your reality. If you dwell on the negative, your life will be negative. Either way, hang in there, man. Life will get better. Good luck!
First of all, Tesla just started selling in China last quarter. When the Model S went on sale in the U.S. there were no Superchargers anywhere. These things take time. Secondly, the majority (90%+) of charging for the Model S (or any electric car) happens at home, in the garage, while the owners are sleeping.
There already two Superchargers open in Shanghai and one under construction in Beijing. No doubt more are on the way. Check this handy sitehttp://supercharge.info/ for their progress.
Not a damn thing! Last July we spent three weeks in Hawaii. Over Christmas & New Years we spent two weeks in the Philippines. Earlier this month we spent a week in Cabo. This coming July we'll be in Cancun for two weeks. This is in addition to monthly camping trips and quarterly trips down to Legoland. Our…
OK, I've got a good. About a year ago my younger boy had just turned five. He was having a not-so-good evening with a difficult potty time and then being hassled by his older brother. When it came time for dessert I reminded him that it was almost bed time and he still had to brush his teeth. His response was…
I couldn't agree more. The i8 looks cool on the outside, but that's about it. The interior is cluttered. It's overpriced. The electric range sucks. The fact that it still needs gas sucks. As you've already pointed out, if you want a futuristic car, look no further than the Tesla Model S. It pretty much destroys…
I call my parents about once a week, maybe a little less. OTOH, I actually see them about five days per week, on average. We have dinner every Monday night and they help out watching our two boys. After 45 years they are still married and they only live about 1.5 miles away from us. It's nice having them so close.…
OK, let's compare. A fully outfitted ELR costs $83K. For the same money you can get a Tesla Model S 85 KWh. The ELR has room for 4 (sort of). The Model S has room for 7 (5 adults + 2 kids). The ELR will do 0-60 in about 8 seconds. The Model S will do that in 5.4 seconds. The ELR has an electric range of 35…
There is no formula that can accurately predict your maximum heart rate. NONE! It doesn't exist. If you want to to know what your max heart rate really is, put on a heart rate monitor and go running / cycling / etc. and push yourself to your maximum. This is only way to know what your actual max is. BTW, is you…
First of all, the ELS is kind of a stupid car. Why would someone pay $80K for a fancy two-door Chevy Volt when you could have a Tesla Model S for the same money? Secondly, the commercial is targeted right at the worst kind of douchebag. You know, the guy in your office who wears his "I haven't taken a day off in…
Sadly, the Fit and the Odyssey are Honda's two best vehicles right now. And that includes Acura.
^This. These aren't robots. They're remote control cars.
Am I the only one who thinks Christmas gifts between adults is kind of weird? We stopped giving each other gifts a long time ago. We still do a few gifts for our boys, but that's it. I already have everything I need. If there is something I really want, I go buy it for myself. Plus, the stuff you get from other…
