I'd sure like to see the video. This actually looks viable for city travel.
You’re right. He did say he was going to sell shares. And not to side with GM, but there’s certainly a certain cache with buying a Tesla. We could debate all day about GM being so cheap as to not spend a few cents on their starters, and maybe prevent the loss of lives, but they just can’t sell a Chevy for $85,000.
Well, I did say "yet" and this was also nearly 6 years ago...Still, I’d agree we’re a lot closer with better technology and quicker breakthroughs, but certainly not there, YET. And like your house, which may run off of electricity, natural gas and maybe even solar panels, I'm not convinced there is a solitary…
Not a huge fan of Tony, especially old Tony, who had a temper; but he’s calmed a lot. This incident has yet to prove to me he was complicit in Ward’s death, other than by driving by. Who knows where his attention was.
OUCH! Well, I tried. Too bad. It works really well. Thinking of doing my own YouTube thing on it.
If you have room/height in your garage (maybe 9’ will do); buy one of these Racor storage racks. They measure 4x4 and hold 250#. Your top is around 86#. Mount the Racor where you can back into the space and center underneath it.
Poorly built- it’s a tin can with mechanicals. People who buy them know this.
See, my old CJ was so, what’s the word, austere? Stick shift, carpeting- that soon came out, leaky windshield, no insulation to speak of. But it never gave me a day’s mechanical issues.
That and they lead the world (or close to it) in retained value. You can buy a new one at the dealer for what most people want for a 2-year old version.
I completely get it, and I don't disagree. And the design, in all honesty, is a product of Daimler, not Fiat. I'm sure there's someone over at Chryco crying foul over that tidbit. I fault FCA for failing to address it in a more timely manner. So now it not only costs what it costs to pacify NHTSA, it costs an…
Y’know, whoever is responsible, whether it goes all the way to Sergio or not, should be shot. How much could it cost to do the right thing vs. take a $70 million fine, PLUS buyback, PLUS oversight? Idiots. (And I have 3 in my driveway).
Found one of Dad's old car brochure and here is a pre-Magnum Tom Selleck as a "successful businessman", elbow patches and all.
5th Gear: More $70,000 Pickup Trucks!
And under the right conditions, aluminum corrodes, too.
Snow job. Man of Steel, all that. You can't have a Man of Aluminum, can you? Doesn't have the same ring to it, does it? Hell, I wish my trailer was aluminum, but the cost would be prohibitive.
Foot on the door sill of my CJ, sans top and doors. Not necessarily weird, but comfortable. And no one else could do it.
Trucks are so versatile, they are never cheap. I miss mine for that reason. But I would state that the Hemi DID make me want to hit the gas on many occasions.
Or the ones who put TOO far forward and fail to register on the loop detector.. and wait, and wait, and wait...
I read he likes to do his own stunts. Of course, there are always safety measures employed, but you have to give him credit for being in such good shape at his age.
