I heard that Joan Rivers is being considered for the new Batman movie, as the Joker. The producers figure they can save a ton of time and money, because she doesn't need make-up.

Agreed. I hate the teaser. Still, I wonder how someone hasn't already snapped a couple of cell phone pics and distributed them. Unless cells aren't allowed. Wait, they allow drinking, don't they?

You're suggesting I hire a Mexican to drive me around town?

Maybe the question is more related to type of vehicle. You have catagories of cars that are "quintessentially American", beginning with the muscle car. You have two or three to select from. Then you have the ford F-150, Ram and Silverado.

Look, this is a dollars and sense, supply and demand argument. The old days of saving $1,000 by selecting a manual is going by the wayside. It might come that buying a car with a manual ends up costing MORE than one with the fancy 8-speed auto.

I am rue to admit the thought has crossed my mind more than once. My mechanic friend says it's harder and harder to find people who can actually work on manual trannies. This, of course, worries me. I'm not a hard-core racing type, but have always enjoyed the control a manual offers me.

Mmmmmm, Serebro! Love the driver.

So bad, I watched it twice.

I realize they are in the development stage, but Chrysler needs to get off its ass and get the Scrambler, and whatever else they have in the pipeline, in the public's hands!

Drool, drool, drool, drool, drool, drool, drool.

I had my '86 Jeep CJ-7 until 1994, and I miss her!

Wish I had one.

Well, true, but it doesn't make it any less annoying.

2nd gear. I read that someplace not too long ago. Can't say I disagree with the idea of a pony car that will actually compete with the Mustang and Camaro. I always thought Daimler was reaching when they made such a BIG knockoff of the original.

Cool. I was born at Kenmore Mercy.

I grew up in a suburb of Buffalo, NY called Williamsville. Now, I live in a suburb of Atlanta.

Well, no, and that was Wikipedia. I always said the old V-8's were 400 cubes and 140 HP. It may be an exaggeration, but it's still miniscule compared to our modern gas guzzlers.

As my friend would say, "You could cut glass wiith those!"

He's also annoying. Please, anyone but Gilbert Gottfried!

My 5.7 Hemi puts out 345HP and 375 Lb/Ft oof torque. It replaced the Ram I wrecked which was a 5.9, the venerable workhorse, something I always considered the old 318. Not much on power, but reliable as all get out. I think my 5.9 "Magnum" put out 235HP and 295 Lb/Ft of torque. Something like that. Although I
