I will keep this brief; otherwise I will end up a blubbering mess in my office, and no one wants that.  I watched "The Visitor" for the first time when I was about 14, and I remember thinking it was well-done, and even found myself genuinely touched by the Siskos' relationship.  It didn't have the whiz-bang effects of

"Wanna see my celestial temple?"

I always took "no changeling has ever harmed another" to be more a political/cultural mantra than a statement of objective fact. (See also Bush, President George W., "We do not torture.") Once you accept that statement as dogma, facts that suggest the contrary conclusion are just nits for pesky nonbelievers to pick.
