Do you know how to tell when Elon Musk is lying?
I was always impressed with how good these things sound.
If you can’t even play Mario Kart, 4-player split screen on it, what’s even the point?
Got to agree. That blue hatch pic above looks pretty darn good.
Boy is Honda’s design language refreshingly simple and clean. Civic and Accord are very handsome cars. And the re-designed Pilot and CR-V look great too. Doing good work over there.
Elon Musk Breaks Another Promise
If the owner thinks that a big ass stereo is more important than flywheel vibration, just think of all the other bad decisions this poor car has been through.
Yeah, one owner, 22 years says well-loved. But the odd choices of where to put money into the car...something doesn’t add up.
There’s the magic word: “single-owner”. Any car kept that long by one owner should have a lot going for it. Credit card money and appearing to be in great shape are more points in the GTI’s favor. (Unlike that unbelievably scruffy Caddy from yesterday.)
The chrome down tubes from the front bumper to the front wheels just make me smile in 1990s.
I got to borrow a friend’s Carrera S a while back. What shocked me was how drivable it was around town. It was surprisingly good as a daily driver in traffic and slow streets. The other unhinged cars I’ve driven have been miserable around town.
An ‘85 Vette does the quarter in 14.1 seconds. A 2022 Accord 2.0 Sport will do it in 13.9 seconds.
You care, porsche envy, or you wouldn’t have read and commented.
ask that question to yourself, because you seem quite triggered over the whole thing. lol
Sure, bud. It’s the Porsche owners who have fragile egos. Not the vapid man-baby who buys entire companies on a whim (only to burn billions by failing by every conceivable metric) and his bootlicking fans.
As a child of the 80s, when a quick stock street car did the 1/4 in 13s, I am absolutely flabbergasted that the SLOWEST 911 will happily run 12s all day long.
If anything, it proves Porsches are the Ultimate sports car you can buy. With only 379hp running in the mid 12s, in a manual is wild.
“Our simulations showed the full 1/4 mi race would be close but with the same net result, so no need to risk it.”
What’s crazy to me is they could have claimed that the Cybertruck can do a 13s quarter mile while towing a car and that would still be extremely impressive. But it’s on-brand for them to cherry pick numbers and misrepresent what their products can actually do.
