This truly feels like the ideal use case for EVs. In-town package delivery. Anything that has set routes and stays mostly close to home with a lot of stop-and-go driving. I hope this sets a good standard going forward.

100000% this. My wife had an Impreza and then upgraded to a WRX. Both had the CVT (she didn’t want to deal with a manual due to being in so much stop-and-go traffic). Okay but as the owner of an RX-8 on its third engine, I’m really pining for a good EV swap kit, and hopefully one that has a rotary range extender. I’d say the one out of the MX-30, but that thing is positively anemic.
