Bingo. The side profile and rear (from what I can tell) look pretty decent. That mug up front, though, is unfortunate to say the least.

I may be a bit biased with my 2-series, but I definitely agree on the BMW take. Or maybe it’s just that the newer designs are so bad that the outgoing ones look really good by comparison. I dunno. But I really like the look of the mid-2010s 2- and 4- series Bimmers.

Well, yeah, but the RX-7 had apex seals prone to blowing as well. But it’s highly regarded whereas people ignore the 8.
As a nearly 6'6" guy, the RX-8's ergonomics don’t suck. It’s one of the few cars I could fit in. The only complaint I really have was that the steering wheel wasn’t telescopic.

They all tie for 7th place. I love the car, but the color selection is criminal.
My wife has a Macan Turbo, and it’s no slouch. I still prefer driving my 2-series, but I’m not at all ashamed of that crossover.
Looks to be well kept. Color combo is boring, but a wrap could at least take care of the exterior. while not the same car, my wife and I own a Macan from nearly the same year with around 100k miles, and it’s still kicking just fine. At the price listed, this seems almost like a no-brainer.
Also the 2nd gen xB weighed a bunch more. Really took what was special about the 1st gen and chucked it out the window.
