That is super weird. I know if we left it in Sport, it would lose like 2-3 MPG per fill up.

I’m used to having cars without a way to read MPG, so I—by habit—calculate the fuel mileage by filling up all the way, measuring the gas it took, and taking the miles traveled via the trip meter. It was always right around there.

Super weird, then. She had the CVT, so maybe that entered into it. But they rated that as having even worse mileage, IIRC.

What can I say, I’m an optimist.

That or it’s the long game.

My wife’s last car was a WRX (2016, I believe). We regularly saw around 29-30 MPG. And we didn’t exactly drive it gently. I think the sticker said something like 24 MPG city/28MPG highway? I know we regularly “beat” the projected fuel mileage by 3-4 MPG every fill-up.

My wife is the kind to flip people off, honk, scream, and all that stuff. This is why I keep asking her not to. Be pissed at me all you want, I’m trying to keep you alive.

This for sure. I don’t like the surprise of having my knees pushed up into my chest.

I absolutely love it. I dunno if I’d have to curl up to sleep or not, but I want one so badly.

Oh man, what a list! Personally, I want that Alto something terrible. But so many good options!

I think this was the part that stood out to me:

Yeah, it looks like they were even cut by hand with scissors or something. Kinda low-effort honestly. But fine for a prototype I suppose.

The F body might not have been very fast, but I had one (teal Camaro RS with T-tops) for my first car and yeah, it looked damn good.

Narcissists typically don’t. They’re a hodgepodge of defense mechanisms making up the shell of a person.

But they’re not following the plow at all. It’s spraying over the other side of the road. The entire other side of the road.

~70mph is “a touch too fast?”

In 1983, then-President Ronald Reagan signed the Memorandum on Heavyweight Motorcycle Imports, which levied tariffs on heavyweight motorcycles. They didn’t compete with the bar and shield, as RevZilla notes, but it was a sign that America was willing to get aggressive in these kinds of cases.

And thus the great circle of life.

Wow, I actually agree with all of these. Especially the tires. I want some damn meats. I think I’ve destroyed a total of 7 tires due to potholes and such? 4 in one go. The city resurfaced a road and kinda left a sharp-ish ~2" tall edge that did a number. One guy had two tires blow out instantly. The only signs were a
