6'5" here. That’s pretty dang remarkable. It’s kinda sad when you barely fit even in some of the largest vehicles on the road without laying the seat down (and that’s just the front seats; I could barely fit in the back seat of my boss’ brand-spankin’-new F-150), yet fit just fine in some of the smallest cars.
I mean, a person sitting at a green light for 0.25 seconds seems to ruin her day, so you may have a point 🤣
Maybe, maybe not. We’ll need to wait and see. Since it’s not just the engine that’s getting a “downgrade” but also the differential, seats, suspension, and potentially more, I feel like it’s gonna be probably around $35k-40k before they start knocking off price when they don’t sell.
I wouldn’t quite say I’m “whining” about a manual (though I agree a lot of people do). I just find it to be more fun. Keeps me more engaged. Not a deal-breaker, but it’s nice to have if I can.
Yeah, it’s definitely quick, gives me very few problems, and I have fun with it. I don’t have the paddle shifters, tho. I just like to play around with the clutch and shifter. I have my RX-8 for that, but you know.
Okay, cool! As I said, I’m somewhat new to the whole Bimmer scene and didn’t know. That’s awesome tho! Might wanna trade in for a newer 2-series, then XD
That’s fair, I suppose. Either way, the point is that early communication here could alleviate this problem nearly entirely.
Well, at least now it’s affordable. I wish it would have a manual transmission, but whatever.
Which is what I’ve been doing (premium seats). I don’t fly all that much, so it’s worth the extra dough for those extra few inches of legroom. And, you know, just rolling with the punches seems to work. But nothing wrong with being assertive. Kindly asking the person if they’d be willing to put their seat up is likely…
I honestly cannot figure out why more people don’t do this. I’m a very shy person who hates conflict, but it takes hardly any effort to just turn around and say “do you mind if I recline?” Chances are they’ll be like “oh, go ahead!” They might even feel pressured into saying “okay” because you were nice (kind of a…
When you’re very tall, it can take up your legroom. I normally have like 1/2 an inch of space between my knees and the seat in front of me. Reclining will put the seat against my legs. So that was space that I was using. At this point I kinda have to sit angled so my knees aren’t crammed into the seat. Or I can ask…
Eh. I’m a very tall person who needs my legroom, and the person in front of me reclining takes what little legroom I have down to nil. So believe me, I have reason to have disdain for people who recline. But to call them monsters for reclining like at MOST 3 inches? Meh. Maybe a bit inconsiderate (I’d appreciate it if…
Okay so I didn’t see until just now that this GIF doesn’t just cut off at the end of “I’ll give it to you, you got me there.” like I’m used to. Thanks go to Google and my short attention span for adding meaning where none was intended.
How the conversation would go with me and my wife:
G**damnit, take your star and get out 🤣
Shhhhhhhhhhh. Let’s just live this dream up while we can.
The difference is the U.S. doesn’t use its surveillance data to crush free speech, censor media, silence dissent, erase history, steal intellectual property, and generally treat its citizens like cattle.
Could they at least have let Melania design it? Politics aside, that looks like a Wonder Bread corporate jet:
