Okay but those pedals
Okay but those pedals
Looking to see if I can slap these on my wife’s WRX to take that soft-roader on some real off-road trails. Also because I think the idea of a WRX-ified Crosstrek is simultaneously hilarious and ingenious.
Gave it a whirl:
The windows over the years:
That way it also works when flipped upside-down. There are no flaws to this. 69 all-the-way, baybee
I have a buddy who bought one. He has a buddy (not me) who won’t leave him alone with the “Fix It Again, Tony” jokes. And for good reason. I think he’s put on maybe 10k miles on it while he’s had it. He’s had it I think three years now? And in that time it’s spent probably north of six months in the shop. Just…
I bought my ‘05 about 8 or 9 years ago, I think. It had ~130k miles on the clock, and a “small power issue.” Turns out the oil injection lines were gummed up on one of the rotors and it wasn’t getting properly lubricated, leading to the apex seals going kablooey after a while. That meant I had to get a rebuild. Ended…
Ah, yeah, it does. To be fair, I didn’t initially open the AutoBlog article.
Wow, that subtle change to the front bumper really helps. Still too much fake vent going on, but breaking it up with a touch of body color is nice.
Okay but like learning about Calculator% is kinda nice for abuse victims. Probably not great for kids to have (unless they have abusive parents), but I mean

And they picked a great place to start.
Yep, definitely agreed.
Yep, I can definitely see that. And agreed. That’s not a bad thing at all.
I’m getting Angrier Miata vibes.
As a tall person who only occasionally uses the back seat, this sounds ideal. I could load the dogs up on the right side and my diminutive wife could get in it relatively issue-free, but I would have the nice leggy room to get in.
Yep, I just saw that $50k part. My bad.
The WRX, since it’s now offered with a (horrible) CVT. Last I heard it was fewer than 10% of WRXes sold since the introduction of the CVT have the CVT.
