Sean O'Neals like white elephants.

They are ridiculously cheap. Whole Foods consistently sells a twelve pack for $5.00 or less. In a world where that's what you pay for one latte the Croix is a delight and a bargain and free of HFCS or aspartame or anything really besides Wisconsin positivity and carbonation.

Oh you poor misguided soul with your malfunctioning taste buds. Do you smoke? Drink excessive coffee or tea?

It's amazing how quick you get accustomed to it as the "right" way for soda to taste. After a few months on the Croix drinking a coke seems like I'm mainlining hummingbird syrup.

I could have sworn this video came out several years ago.

Wasn't Franklin the reasoning behind that weird 90s "Heroes Reborn" thing where they gave all their flagship characters to Image and WildStorm? And I feel like Byrne had him fundamentally alter reality at least a couple times during his run. He's been such an almost literal "deus ex machina" it seems like writing

I'll take a couple jarring "sho' nuffs" from Bendis over his other habit of making every character talk like a Yiddish vaudevillian moaning about their Tuchis.

Do kids even play with toys anymore? Aren't they all just locked into free to play iPhone and iPad games or minecraft?

There's something there. I mean she definitely had to be aware of family money. Her dad spent her whole childhood putting together a world class art collection while still running the corporation (a collection which he donated to underprivileged kids in Harlem)

Yup- she's pretty damn incredible. She picked one of the very few career paths where her family fortune and name provided no benefit and ended up at near the top of the field (SNL cast member) by the time she was 21.

The "cultural conversation" around certain shows is pretty ridiculous when you compare it to the ratings. Like the viewership numbers for the last seven episodes of Mad Men combined barely add up to how many people watch a single episode of NCIS.

That episode of Watching Ellie where she adopts the dying dog is pretty damn near perfect. That show had potential but was just crippled by network and timing.

One of my favorite facts about Julia Louis Dreyfus is that she's a billionaire heiress to a massive French agribusiness and shipping fortune.

The "Congo" element is the only red flag for me. The Belgian atrocities perpetrated upon the indigenous peoples of the Kongo are just an incredibly bleak backdrop for pulp. It would be like if Indiana Jones raided Dachau, just a tonal mishmash that diminishes very real suffering. Plus it's not like Tarzan could

The food is terrible… And such small portions!

"Technology to bring together the human race in an unprecedented collaboration of knowledge sharing and creation and all I'm getting are Goatse.jpgs and rare Pepes"

Damn that would be perfect. Just make him equal parts Hans Gruber and Marvin the Paranoid Android and you're halfway there.

I'm really praying for a dad-a-chum but my fear of it being a Charyou Tree is definitely there as well. I'm really surprised they picked Reap Day for the release date, definitely have to get my stuffy-guy ready early.

OY!

I'm pretty psyched to be honest. They'll have to streamline the first two books into the first movie but it can definitely work. Fuck I can't tell you how psyched I would be to see a big budget expression of the God Drums of Lud and good old Blaine.
