Came to post this. Say what you want about it now, but Avatar was the #1 movie for 9 weeks in a row. NINE freakin' weeks! Still one of the most visually rich movies ever made.

I think the show has gotten even better with Keira's ultimate realization that she CAN'T get back, her world is gone. Now she's just lost.
