Imagine a world where this many people were this passionate about stuff like clean drinking water, functional infrastructure, public education, or homelessness. I think I’ve devolved to just being in awe at the efforts people will go for something that has been safely administered to over 200,000,000 people. 

She is talking so much about it because that’s what she gets out of this arrangement—she’s working for exposure. And she’s going to milk every aspect of it.

The very worst-case scenario for Pete is that he ends up with an entire comedy album’s worth of new material. So, still a win, really.

Way harsh, but I have to agree. 

People could also be weird about it because (if that photo is of them) she is quite pretty and he looks like an absolute doofus with a terrible haircut and ugly denim button down shirts. I can only infer from this photo that he also wears ill-fitting khaki pants a la 17 year olds from the early aughts working at Geek…

I hate auto start/stop so much. In the Audi A4 I had as a rental in Florida I found myself wiggling the steering wheel back and forth at every red light so it wouldn’t shut off. Because otherwise the a/c would shut off with it and the car would start to roast.

Clearly he wants people to know he got a big promotion at work. I know every time I see a $60K SUV from a “prestige brand” I think “clearly that person or their spouse has ascended to the heights of their profession” and not “get your bloated soccer mom mobile out of my lane.”

I sure hope that 75 mile commute is total, not one way. If the latter, I suggest our friend here consider buying a new house too. Don’t waste what is 2-3 hours a day minimum being stuck in traffic (not even factoring in the blood pressure issues it will cause).
