At least they both left out King’s really, really, really, really, really bad ending to the kid’s escape from the sewers. I feel like the original miniseries is really good at condensing the massive book down to three hours even if part 2 is a complete train wreck. The biggest issue I had with the remake was repeating the mistake of uncoupling the flashbacks from the present story while failing to address a lot of the smaller moments…

I think if the Black Adam movie does well with Hawkman in it that there’s a decent chance of Hawkgirl showing up in a sequel or in whatever Shazam movie Black Adam ends up in.
