“Some people might say, ‘Oh, it would’ve been so cool to see Doctor Strange,’” Feige told Rolling Stone. “But it would have taken away from Wanda, which is what we didn’t want to do. We didn’t want the end of the show to be commoditized to go to the next movie—here’s the white guy, ‘Let me show you how power works.’”

I’d say Ms Marvel’s costume is spot on design wise but what I don’t like about it is it looks like it’s made out of cake fondant, like a lot of Marvel costumes. I’d rather it looked like it was made in a teenage girl’s bedroom instead of 3-D printed out of rubber by Cakemaster, the costumer.

Showing the fan-reaction clip felt a little self-indulgent. For what they were trying to do those moments stand on their own without showing the crowd.

That’s a very American way of looking at it. Class is way more linked to money in the US, whereas in the UK it’s very much about blood.

In Britain, what class you are is not about money, but about bloodlines. Doesn’t matter how rich her parents are, they’re not “upper class.”

The Flagsmashers were an absolute mess that had no idea what they were doing, but what they wanted was to not get kicked out of the countries they made home over the past five years and put in internment camps where they weren’t getting adequate food, medicine, and shelter and then sent back to where they came from,

Who gets labeled a “terrorist” and who gets labeled a “freedom fighter” largely depends on perspective and power balances.

Mr. The Newsroom and Ms. “I Used to Be a Supermodel and Married to Ric Ocasek”

Mr. The Newsroom?

Well considering we are coming up on the whole secret invasion thing, maybe Sharon has already been replaced by a Skrull? Given the way she acted when she broke the law to help Steve Rodgers, I didnt get the vibe she was the vindictive sort. She seemed to take after her Aunt in that she would break the rules to do the

I’ll gladly join you in that minority! Sharon Carter had two small roles in Winter Soldier and Civil War, and yet people are acting like this is some grand betrayal of the fandom. She’s a minor character given a hefty new direction, and I think that’s great.

On a purely metatextual note, duplicitous VanCamp is objectively the best VanCamp, so I regard this as an unambiguous win overall.

“What exactly she will be an ‘Agent’ of is left unsaid, given that SHIELD is very gone at this point and SWORD is, presumably, a bit busy after the whole New Jersey deal.”

Prediction (that won’t come to pass): Sharon is posing as The Power Broker for Fury in order to flush out the real Power Broker OR this ‘Sharon’ is a Skrull

Okay, some of you called this from the moment the show was announced: it would end being called Captain America and The Winter Soldier. And it was. Give yourself a pat on the back. Though he’s not The Winter Soldier any longer and that was actually his journey, so it should have been called Captain America and Bucky.

“No is a full sentence” is literally my favorite advice ever. I read the Olsen’s saying that somewhere else and it’s stuck with me for years.

I’m excited! I know fans will always obsess over Wanda traumatizing a town and wanting things to be black and white, but it’s like ok yesss she’s the most powerful witch in the world dealing with some major trauma. She can only reconnect with her humanity through the humanity of others. And fans are funnily enough

Rogue One and Last Jedi were the pinnacles of the Star Wars franchise.

Danielle Panabaker became friends  with Bitsie Tulloch when she guest starred on Grimm and now both are in the ArrowVerse, as Caitlin/ Frost and Lois Lane

I’m glad they are using “Isis” the name (presumably). It needs to be reclaimed, and this is a good time to do it. What would happen if a terrorist group called itself “Steve” or “William”? Would millions of people have to change their names so as not to offend?
