The standout performance is absolutely Owen Teague (who had a small but notable role in another Stephen King adaptation: It) as Harold Lauder, whose incel/school-shooter vibes and frenzied, unrequited crush on Frannie make him immediately repellent—he’s also so realistic, he’s even scarier than Flagg at times.

It’s been well over a decade since I’ve read the book, but the early parts of the story were the most effective to me. The depiction of the gradual breakdown of society was eerily believable, probably even more so if I were to go back and re-read the book after living through 2020.

Gina as nuPam! MAKE IT HAPPEN!!

Yeah, the last few books were weirder (and more torture-y), and harder to like. In my opinion, both the books and the show suffered from “Hey, let’s add another supernatural race” syndrome, but the books gave you more time to absorb the change. The show didn’t have time to ease you into the changes, and they seemed

The Aquaman paychecks and residuals have been really good.

I was totally over Boba Fett. Whiny kid versions of characters are generally pretty awful. I have to admit, though, watching shards of Stormtrooper armor flying around everywhere as Boba beat them down was pretty awesome. I just wished our main character hadn’t suddenly had to become a moron to get those scenes.

THANK YOU

Not that Giancarlo Esposito isn’t reliably excellent but even for him, I really got a kick out of his work in the scene with Grogu, going so far as to seemingly tempt him with the Darksaber before getting back to business mode.

I’m still processing everything I saw in this episode. The second I saw Slave 1 coast by in the sky my heart was in my throat and stayed their the rest of the episode. It’s been a really long time since a tv show made me feel like this.

I was thinking of her “Girl at party you wish you hadn’t spoken to.”

esther this is clearly this is cicely strong impersonating a poorly-medicated victoria jackson

Finally a more famous trans-person than Caitlin Jenner who can be a better representation for the trans community. Caitlin has done a terrible job and even supported trump, Elliot is a way better spokesperson.

Yes to Sloane’s husband. Him hooking up with that other woman was the most unrealistic part of the whole thing, IMO. He was such a cool character and the other woman—wasn’t.

Also, I kinda wanted Harper to realize she and Connor were truly perfect for each other (although Connor is just a bro, Harper is a dick) so Abby

I don’t know. I’m getting a strong Boo-Berry vibe off of them, the Monster Cereal line is known for its indigestible colors.

I hate Punisher as a character, but Bernthal’s performance actually made me care about Frank Castle. He was a pretty good Lee Iacoca in Ford V Ferari too.

It’s been a while, so I might have missed it, but I don’t recall there being much of a lesyay vibe from those two. I could have seen her with Cordelia or Fred before Buffy.

You know... if both of those ladies hadn’t gotten possessed by eldritch abominations and died. (What the fuck was up with that anyway?)

Oh, I do love me some Dragonslayer. Such an underrated flick.

Millie Bobby Brown will star in and produce Damsel at Netflix, a new fantasy-adventure movie from 28 Weeks Later director, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. Brown is said to play Princess Elodi, a young royal who is “married off to a rival kingdom” only to “immediately find herself in danger when it’s revealed that her new

Guys don’t forget this.

Man, I can’t wait until they eventually decide to cut their losses and release Black Widow on Disney+. I’d gladly pay the early access price they wanted for Mulan
