Somehow, despite being very into new wave and alt-rock through the 80s my first real introduction to Kate Bush was The Sensual World. I was in San Francisco visiting a friend very shortly after the 1989 earthquake and when she played it I was captivated. That led me to start working through the back catalogue and I

Well, I’m 25 and didn’t grow up with any of this music so it didn’t sound old when I first listened to it about 5 years ago.

Eh. I know they have a budget and all but still... It’s the head. It’s that weird wrinkly judge from Nothing But Trouble head.

Old but perpetually relevant words from Ian Curtis is Hungry

Season 1 was uneven, but the episode where we get to see the world through Sissy Spacek/ Ruths eyes was one of the most sad, touching, beautiful hours of television i have ever seen.

yikes. venom was fucking terrible - laughably bad acting, plot and CG.

Kitt has always been my favorite Cat.

No idea what sort of story Reeves plans to tell, but casting Kravitz as Selina Kyle is straight up Batman: Year One.

Right Kravitz, she’s his daughter.

That wasn't there when I posted :/

i have a similar opinion but for a different reasoning:  what is the point of a movie if the protagonist is the bad guy?  like, what are we hoping for, what is the goal of the movie if the main character is doing things we don’t want them doing?

His origin was far more boring than the Joker himself is, anyway.

Here’s a take. I’m not sure how good of a take, but a take.

Here’s the thing: for all the fascination people has to this film, if it’s really a “Joker” origin, then... what does Batman stands for in this universe? The 1%?

Superman isn’t leaving much to the imagination. Fellas, you’re supposed to wear a dancer’s cup so you don’t end up on a watch list. And point it down, for crissakes!

Nothing from the Boys?
