The 1970s series of Agatha Christie movies has never been surpassed (because they’re perfect). Last year’s Murder on the Orient Express was nowhere near the flawless 1974 classic. So now they’re doing Death on the Nile, but who can top Bette Davis and Maggie Smith? (No one)...

How does one manage to convince themselves that they’re the inflluencer when they’re doing Kim Kardashian cosplay?

I can confidently say that I have never attempted to be an influencer.  And yet, here I am, saying that I don’t think it’s a real job.  Does it involve work?  Yes.  Does it involve making money?  Yes.  But is it valuable, useful, helpful, or necessary?  No.

Being a Kim Kardashian impersonator is hard damn work.

Abrams is full of shit. I 0% believe that there was any premeditated through-line for this trilogy and Palpatine is showing up because of his nostalgia boner, just like his Super Duper Mega Death Star.

Routh looks fantastic as Kingdom Come Superman.

I have not seen Fleabag, but if you were impressed with it, try watching Killing Eve. Also very good.

She really was. In another universe, Barry would be with her and Iris, and Iris would be with Barry and Eddie.

I don’t get the shade thrown at Jameela Jamil here. Sure she’s had some missteps but she responds quickly and has shown willingness to learn. She is far more progressive in thinking and intersectional than your average pussy hat wearing white woman.

I believe it.  I just have no interest in the film itself at this point.

I just don’t care.

Nope, still not convinced. The Joker without Batman is like Lex Luthor without Superman; nothing to see here.

I think the MCU would do well to stay away from the X-Men. At this point, the X-Men’s bad movies well outnumber the good ones and their bad reputation will only drag down the MCU.

This week, it was announced that J.J. Abrams had, with his wife and business partner Katie McGrath, inked a multi-year agreement with WarnerMedia

I just finished reading ‘Fire and Blood’ GRRM’s history of the Targaryen kings. I really enjoyed it, and helped clean out the bad taste in my mouth left by the last season of Game of Thrones. There’s so much material in it for a potential TV show, Aegon’s conquest, The Dornish Wars, Maegor the Cruel, the rule of the
