The more Thandie, the better It Is. They are setting up another ‘Dolores pontificates while a lovesick dude watches her’ situation It seems. ERW deserves better (at least she’s kicking more ass with better clothes this season).

they aren’t pro-life - they are pro-controlling women’s bodies and choices

I really think Thandie would have made a terrific Catwoman/Selena Kyle

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I wonder If those props from the John Williams scene were taken from sets/archives or created from scratch? That Is a lot of work - time and money - for easter eggs. I know Disney has vaults of money but If I were the budget guy I’d be like ‘you’re spending HOW MUCH?’

I wish they would at New Mutants to the list for the adults!

totally agree, the move really overrated.- with the exception of Let It Go. That Is broadway scream-singing at Its best. I love Idina.

Thank you for the Simu Liu thirst trap. I have a feeling we’ll be getting more of those.

Sounds like an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer

File under - what did you expect? I have sympathy for these kids - but their only way Is to leave. I can’t Imagine how hard It would be, but for their own happiness. Unrelated, but kind of not, my TikTok feed Is suddenly full of young LDS members complaining about all the negative comments about their religion - and

I’ve adored her since she played Anna Espinosa on ALIAS.

Just let that version of Trek die. I don’t need another movie of actors doing Impressions of other actors for nostalgia sake. There Is so much In the ST universe to explore. How about a DS9 30 years later with Cisco’s kid as commander? I don’t know - but we don’t need those great actors stuck In the past.

Thank you for your Angelus reference!

Your Dracula scenario makes him too famous, too public. There are still scary versions - he just can’t be sparkly or only misunderstood. Coppola’s Drac was the best modern one because he was still scary and vicious, while being charming with Mina. It also helped that only she knew this side of him and thought he was

such a waste

I saw him as the anti-hero/villain because he was a victim first, and he didn’t have the traditional relationship with the ‘final’ girl - the attraction/sexual attraction with Helen (and of course Interracial nature) made It very different. Or maybe because I was young, loved horror movies and never once wanted to

The first episode and Its extended scenes of Grace Zabriski - any ‘normal’ show wouldn’t have let her do her thing...

I know she Is highly regarded, but Moss Is one of those actors who I know are great but I just don’t find them compelling or whose work I seek out.

I like Evans, but Gary Oldman Is the best ‘modern’ Dracula.

This was the bright spot - and perhaps Angelina Jolie who was going to be the Bride. Put great actors In these roles (and yes she can be great). LIke Gary Oldman’s Dracula from the late 90s. Great movie, actually scary and dangerous, but a truly great villain - you understand his motives. Love never dies.

one of the most mis-cast films In recent memory. I too avoided It In theaters (I love monster flicks, all the original ones and the first Brendan Fraser movie. Sophia was a good choice - and a star on the rise. When I finally rented It - Its really surprising how truly awful It Is.
