My bar Is pretty low for comic movies to begin with, but Venom was below that. 

Its an echo chamber of non-news designed to get attention. and everyone falls for It. 

The problem Is I don’t think they were going for camp and silliness....

his ‘celebrity’ was always confusing to me - he comes off like a douche In real life and on-screen. His role In Gosford Park Is like Keanu In Dangerous Liaisons - so so bad but In such a great movie that even he can’t tank It. I also wonder how he supports himself - I know he’s been some stuff but does Reese pay…
