"She had friends who were…SOCIALISTS….Well, we all make mistakes…"

Werner Herzog. Dude is easily the coolest living human.

Not at all. Just stating my opinion.

Okay, that's actually a good point. I dunno; these were just the episodes that came to my head when I thought of the concept. I can't justify them objectively, I just found "Escape" slightly more intense than "The Lich". They're both great episodes.

Fair enough. I guess I went with that one because there's so much going on, and it's wildly unpredictable. "The Lich" is more of a slow-burn, with this creeping sense of dread, and hell breaks loose only in the last minute or so. Right out of the gate in "Escape", it's just one thing after another. The foreshadowing

Nope, not yet. Only a few episodes in so far.

My High-Fidelity reflex is compelling me…
Top Five Most Intense Children's Show Episodes:
(Using only one per show for variety)
1. Escape From The Citadel (Adventure Time)
2. The Return (Steven Universe)
3. Dipper And Mabel Vs. The Future (Gravity Falls)
4. The Ringing Of The Bell (Over The Garden Wall)

At the time.

Man, other-dimensional TV has a much looser feel.

Calling bullshit on July and August being the best two months. The best month is October. After that, depends on where you live.

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown. I really don't know why; it's certainly not as good as some of the specials (The best of which we can all agree is Great Pumpkin, right?), but something about it is just endlessly absorbing for me. I've always been a fan of characters who normally

I don't know; I feel like it will be really cool to go back to adventuring, with season six under the show's belt now. The philosophical undertones have always been and will always be there (Heck, even the old Tart-toter's random-ass speech back in season 2 actually connects to the show's core ideals), and I think

Was waiting for you to show up, fellow champion of season six. This comments section is in need of your wisdom.

Dude, it's an incredible book. Any and every fan of Dick should read it without question.

Really saddens me to see the lack of enthusiasm here. I know a lot of people disagree with me on this, but I think Adventure Time has only gotten stronger, and the themes and ideas the last season was willing to explore were intriguing and very moving. I've been watching the show for two years, and it has never

Well, I mean, this IS more Adventure Time. It's a bunch of episodes in a row in season seven that share a name and a story. It's not a separate thing.

"I've seen your junk."—Amethyst.

That is the hardest I have ever laughed at a comment with only one upvote.

Shadow Over Innsmouth is genuinely intense, I would say. Dunwhich Horror, too. Whenever Lovecraft decides to have actual action in his stories, as opposed to "Team of ambitious scientists discover vague clues about the elder beings and are creeped out", he's surprisingly good at it. Which makes me wish he did it more.

My vote would go to Yog-Sothoth for that category, although he/it might be considered closer to Azathoth and Nyarlathotep.
