I had no idea this person was a thing until South Park parodied him.

The same people that buy yearly Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty games are the ones that complain about the periodical Street Fighter updates. Go figure.

I loved failing that song and getting the girl the evil robot bear as a gift.

Give her presents, interact with her, work on affection meter. Not total dating sim, but the elements are there.

I swear Sega does this on purpose. Last year Project Diva F came out on the same day as Madden, this year was the same day as GTA. Somewhere a Sega exec is getting a mild chuckle as I stand in a store crowded with dudebros picking up the same game, while I'm there to pick up my song and dance waifu simulator.

I would love this so much. They've made little nods to FFVI with the Phantom Train, Magitek Armor, and a certain returning character in the Hildebrand quest line. This year is the 20th anniversary of FFVI, but I doubt it will happen.

Yoshida is a huge fan of FFIII (hence the entire Crystal/Syrcus Tower quest line) and

It helps that movie Quill and comics Quill are very different characters.
