I would add to your list that Waze is a HUGE battery suck...even more so than Android Navigation via Google Maps. The act having to plug my phone in to a charger if I don’t want to flat-line my battery during my paltry 25 minute commute is kind of annoying.

We had the same one! My first ride :)

My first car, a ‘77 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade came with a “Levi’s Denim Package” consisting of denim jean patterned dash, soft top and short-back vinyl seats complete with the Levi Strauss rivets. Had a 258 C.I. straight-six with 3 speed manual trans (1st gear always popped out when starting from a dead stop). Wish I had

...yeah, except the clutch engagement on the XT was so numb and light switch-like it really made the car difficult to drive—even after 7 years of ownership by someone who’s driven manual trans cars for almost 20 yrs. Oh, and the horrible suspension. But other that that, you’re 100% correct! ;)

Perfectly stated!

Seeing all the “misses” which VW has had between its ridiculously unrealisric sales goals, questionable product line desirability and pricing, I will go on record as saying this, too, will be a giant screw-up—despite looking/sounding really damn cool.

Appreciate your comments as at least I know now that I wasn’t missing something with Trello. Incidently, I’ve just circled back with a product called As an a which I had spent some time testing about a year ago and didn’t like for much the same reason. Well, it seems they’ve changed the product and now its pretty much

Oh stop now...you know that Style 95's look great on all 7-Series ;) Sure, they're not "period" rims, but agreed with all your other points.

Can you even imagine the horrifying sounds which must emanate from that car each time a door is closed? I'm going to have nightmares tonite....I just know it.

I don't know much, but I do know one should always avoid any car dealership with the word "prestige" in it. Because, for one, they sell E32's spray-painted in black primer. From. A. Can.

The $28,000 starting cost of the Sport 2.0T version we tested nets a raft of features, from keyless ignition, doors, and trunk to blind spot detection, Hyundai’s HomeLink telematics system, and a decent nav system. The 245-hp 2.0-liter turbo is a bit down on power from the last generation, but it’s got more than

I'll admit....I'm confused by Subaru's ever-changing direction with its vehicles like the Outback.

Great article though. I have been running Nokian tires on and off over the last 10 years, and especially with some of their newer "all weather" tires, they really are the closest thing to not having to compromise dry weather handling for great winter handling.

That must be a "design enhancement" of some sort, as I keep hearing from all the VAC fan boys here how "reliable" VAC products are nowadays, and how "quality has never been better".

...exactly! Just like BMW did was alleged to do with the 1-Series...oh wait...never mind ;)

I really don't get it. Despite having produced as many fun/desirable/great handling/"decent value" vehicles as it has over the years, it's almost like VW has completely lost its mind and has no idea what it's doing any more.

Nokian built the longest hockey field ever

Other aspects of note in the interior are its rich bordello red color scheme and flat as as a plains state bucket seats. The driver's throne seems to be missing some trim at the bendy part and there's some wear and tear here and there, but otherwise it seems like a pretty nice place to be. There's also that Hurst

Rear wing. Ouch. That wasn't stock, was it?!

We're not saying you should completely distrust HR, but HR should never be your first step if you have a problem. You can't always expect discretion unless it's specifically guaranteed, and your complaint will likely work its way back to the person at the root of it. Instead, try to resolve your differences and issues
