Yes, it is reasonable to put the Chicago gun violence in context — and you are right, that context is that Chicago is mostly a pretty nice city with a few really shit parts. And certainly other cities like Baltimore deserve to be (and often are) put on blast for their violence.

This seems like some really stupid whataboutism. Chicago is notable because it is a major American city with an outrageous murder rate and the raw number of murders per year is staggering. Obviously there are cities with higher murder rates because huge parts of Chicago are relatively safe.

That is not what it fucking says you retard. It says that black suspects get shot more often (in proportion to their share of population) because they have more encounters with the police. But that in a given encounter, race does not determine whether the suspect is shot. Or in other words, YOU LEARN TO READ YOU…
