if I shelled out that much green, it better not have the same switchgear as

Why should you give a fuck what someone else does with the vehicle they buy? Someone buys a pickup but doesn’t haul anything in it? So the fuck what, it wasn’t your money they were spending. Whoever paid for it gets to determine what use it’s put to, even if that means they never tow or haul anything with it.

Dude phrases this “that’s one of my biggest pet peeves about halo cars” like he’s out specing ones to buy everyday lol...

Why on Earth would Ford want to dissuade people from dropping top dollar on vehicles they net them some of their best profit margins? Seems to me you don’t understand the first thing about mass market manufacturing comrade.

Dood....you’ve got it all wrong. The F-150 has GT40 switches.

For $500k Janine the floor mat lady better personally come to my house...

This isn’t a car you buy for the interior.

F-150 switch gear get abused day-in and day-out on millions of units. They definitively know the switches hold up to use.

I am a 50 year old white male. Since I was 15 years old I have owned only Honda and Yamaha scooters and motorcycles.

It’s more just that it’s my indulgence in my life. I’m not super well off, cars are just what I enjoy. I don’t really do vacations, I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I don’t party, etc. Gas to me is just like food and water. I know I need it to do the stuff I like so it’s just an expense I deal with. None of my cars were

We get it dude, you drive a Prius.

You gotta be able to fit the word “Trump” in there somehow.

Old trucks make great weekend tools. I have 318,000 miles on my 200o Ford Ranger.

BINGO!

I was just sick of hearing the complaint that “truck owners never use their trucks for truck things”

Maybe they just like them. Now think carefully and slowly. It’s a new thought so be careful. Some people buy things because they like them, not because they need them. Did it hurt your brain to consider that for one brief moment? I bought a nice big tv, not because I need it, but I LIKE it. I also bought Nike running

I lived in Boston for 3 years with my truck. I used it to tow my boat on the weekends so it was tough to justify not having one. In terms of parking, I could fit into most any parking garage, I could parallel park, and I could park in parking lots. Efficiently navigating a parking lot means backing into a parking

The cool thing with both trucks and sports cars is that the further down the line of successive owners it goes, the more likely it will be used for its intended purpose.

“American cars are generally terrible on the inside”

So you mean like 99% of sports car owners?
