Agreed. This is quite possibly the most disappointing news I have ever read.

Ford being a CUV only company is neutering what the company once was.

Well yeah.. But I lose all desire to buy a Ford product knowing that its going to be discounted...

Can we just call it ugly and be done with it?

I admit the entire reason I bought my 2017 Ford Fiesta Titanium is because the dealer had cut the price down to about 15,000.

But when the 2013 Fusion came out, it DID compete. Ford was selling well over 250k of them and it got great reviews. The previous generation Fusion, right at the end, was getting rave reviews from Consumer Reports for reliability, beating Toyota and Honda. Ford did a damn good job, made serious progress and now

I guess Group 4 is too small for them to worry about.

I’ll say it. I think this is a terrible idea.

In a way I could see why they are frustrated. Especially w/ the focus and fiesta. Say Ford really commits big $$$$s into the development of the next versions, even if both are wild successes and win all the awards in the end a piece of shit Versa or Sentra will probably sell more.

No more Fusion, Focus, Fiesta...the root of the problem is that Ford is simply running out of Fs to give.

I used the full-sized spare on my Peugeot a few months ago. I don’t know how old it was, but it said : “Made in West Germany” on the side. I’ll be replacing that tire...

Because CVTs suck?

I’ve been driving in Manhattan for the entirety of my driving life and I’ve never driven north/south through the park. I’ve driven on the 72nd cross-park road plenty of times, but never north / south.

There are several reasons why people buy new cars and it’s not really that hard to understand them...

Hahaha holy shit man! This is why I buy beaters. I just bought a perfectly serviceable 2005 Lincoln Town car for a thousand dollars. Yeah it needs a bunch of little cosmetic things but a thousand dollars doesn’t cover sales tax on a new base model Accent.

Meh. For every person who has saved $80+k to drive around in a 700+hp Hellcat-type vehicle AND happens to be a complete menace to society there are:

You are judging two drivers by the way they “look”, but fail to mention how they drove (outside of wheelspin in 3rd gear, which I find it hard to believe you knew which gear they were in) or if you actually, you know, talked to them. Do you blurt out all of your stereotypes and biases on a regular basis or just save

It’s good to see Sunbirds still have a use.

EVERYONE IS INEXPERIENCED! by your logic, we should all driving a G-D Yaris.

As a 38 year old Hellcat owner, most of those I know are very reserved and responsible. My 2 buddies are both driving instructors. Of the 5 other Hellcat owners I know, all but one had a 500+ HP car prior to owning. You rarely see any accidents on the owners board. Your assumption is just that, an assumption. Be more

No because those are driven by the right kind of people, obviously
