Very well said and highlighting the biggest problem of it all as it relates to US law. Curious if the waiver they have that allows them to self regulate would have to be removed or if it could be deemed unconstitutional if challenged by another state or car mfger?

Why are your so against saving the car. This is a car website. Maybe there were fire fighters in the building. I can trust them to do their job and make their own decisions based on the scenario they are in.. apparently you cannot.

How did I miss this? This is incredible of true.. curious if they'd call it a mustang or go for a falcon? Or Thunderbird?

This is a good thing for the city of Detroit, the old train station, the neighborhood, and future employees of the technology center. If it were up to me, this seems like a wise decision by the city council as they are helpign turn around the decrepit building and the neighborhood.

I think it is a lot better (I actually think it is pleasant) than the super high pitch incessant beeping of other cars (Toyota comes to mind especially as the same beeping sound is for every notification type)

My first car was a ‘95 Windstar in Light Evergreen Frost. In highschool we took out the seats and put bean bags back there with a tv and Nintendo. Great first vehicle.

I really like green (Forest green type color or British racing green). I too hope they bring that color back. At least for now it looks like the ranger has more color options than the Canyon with blue and orange

Yeah we had a rental one for a few weeks and now have the rental colorado LT.. Light years ahead in comfort in both near base models. Plus modern features in the Chevy. Much more space in the colorado (I am 5'11" and would hit my head getting in and out without ducking). Plus the seat bottom can be adjusted in the

Also boats are just registered once every three years depending on the size. Value has nothing to do with it.

Actually it was a voter referendum. The birthday tax was actually cheaper. This one just punishes those who get cars more often and is the opposite of what automotive dealers would want. Why do you think it’s the automotive dealer lobby? Unless my logic is wrong.

Oh man that's a bummer and surprising.. Maybe pushing people to raptor or Bronco?

Not this year.. do you actually think they won’t sell it in the US when bringing over the Ranger?

Are you really a shop teacher? What part of the country do you reside?

Aren’t they making a manual transmission?

Well fishing licenses help to control the fish population from over fishing and pay to protect your ability to fish beyond just paying for a license.. One of those situations where just because you can get away with it didn't make it right. Glad you came around though!

They issued a recall for it and fixed it on the very next generation. My dad has the 2010 and it works great. I have an 03 Expedition also no issues. Only that explorer generation had the issue and if your family’s piece below the lift gate is cracked, take it in and get it fixed for free under the recall! I do wish

This is a great question that I look forward to reading the answers on.. it is always cheaper to fix things yourself and i would think it is always cheaper to fix the car you have than buy a new one.. so when DO you let it go? By the way, my AC compressor failed in my 03 Expedition but if you can do it yourself you

If you really want to make an impact on CO2, stop eating meat.

What is the difference between muscle and pony cars? I am curious now

That car looks great
