The Great Escape was my choice for an almost exact scenario in college.

I dig it and the color. That 2.3 should be a lot of power to haul ass, just wonder how much it could tow..
What part of the country? Wouldn’t mind seeing him and simultaneously giving to charity
I have a 2003 Expedition with 244k on her. I love it because you can tow a decent amount, carry a ton of people, or fully flat fold seats can carry a ton of cargo (or give my dog a lot of space). It was my dad’s, then my brother’s, now mine. I’ve changed preventatively pretty much every fluid possible in the car and…
Man that side panel turned away from him at the last second before death.. Do you know any of the back story on that gif?
Man well done on your very thorough and informative response. Gave me a couple good things to read/watch to know my history better. Sincerely appreciated
Is it true the first land rovers just used the jeep willy chassis as the starting point and built from there?
That would be amazing and out of left field but satisfy the small truck desires everyone on here seems to have (I don’t mind midsize/fullsize) and the car enthusiasts alike!
I’ m not a climate change denier but I believe what you are referring to is just called weather. Droughts and wild fires are normal for the west coast. One of the reasons the wild fires are so bad is because they haven’t been naturally occurring not nearly as often because we humans stop it. By humans preventing the…
Apparently sold the final 2% of previously 33% in 2015. The end of a very successful partnership for both companies. It’s too bad if you ask me. I think their partnership started way back in the 70s.
Worth it in the end? I love those year thunderbirds
Sounds like rust and old rubber from sitting for a couple years did that? You just have gotten it back to tip top shape right as you gave up on it!
Traditionally haven’t given the fj much thought but that is a great color and incredible pictures of your adventures!
They could have gotten an escort or hopped in squad car. Police are more understanding than you seem to presume
Lesson learned. If I’m ever in the situation, I’d stop, tell the officer, and hopefully he’d escort me at high speeds to the hospital being his car flashing sirens
Wasn’t Ford paying $5/day well before unions existed? It’s pretty clear Ford started modern consumerism by paying his employees enough to have ample expendable income
I believe the UPS package cars are custom built as well.. some Ford, some Peterbilt, etc.
One thing that has started to bother me more and more about Top Gear is that they thrash, bash, and outright destroy old classic cars. They make stupid modifications and the fake acting is getting old. Wheeler Dealers gives back to the car community by actually fixing up cars and not destroying them or, for the most…
I was extremely pleasantly surprised with how awesome the first episode was. Retains all the greatness of Wheeler Dealers.. it does make you wonder why Edd left.. but it also makes you wonder if they kept the greatness because Edd left.
How is this better than the Continental (in its upper trims)? The back seats in the Continental have massage features built in, recline, etc. The wool is a cool touch but what is better really? I ask out of curiosity as nothing stuck out to me
