I’m pretty sure the two Doctors split their clothing, which means Fourteen was just freeballing while they were playing catch. I don’t see how it hurts Ncuti to be young, sexy, and practically naked though, especially considering how NuWho has a huge fanbase of viewers who are hot for Doctor. I was expecting him to

Allow me to explicabilate it for you - the Doctor bi-generated, but his clothes didn’t. The 10th Doctor was shoeless and going commando

It’s a kilt.  Gatwa is Scottish.

I’ve been on a few message boards today and the sight of the new Doctor playing a very athletic game of catch in his underwear doesn’t seem to have turned many people off. Quite the opposite, actually.

Eh, I definitely think ‘We Built This City’ is worse, it’s like a Platonic bad video.  ‘Dancing in the Streets’ is just something Mick and Dave threw together in like 2 days while they were high as hell, Starship actually tried with their video.

And yet it’s still not as bad of a video as ‘We Built This City’.

It’s not explicit, but I always had the impression that Palpatine checked in with Anakin on at least a semi-regular basis ever since he singled Anakin out at the end of Phantom Menace. Their conversations in the two subsequent movies (prior to Palpatine’s big reveal) feels like an ongoing unofficial mentorship.

Now playing

Frank in They Live >>>>>> everything else. This is obvious.

Hayden was definitely young and inexperienced which wasn’t necessarily suitable for a starring role, but I think a lot the credit goes to absolutely dog shit writing and direction. Lucas simultaneously wrote and went “yeah, yeah, that’s perfect Hayden. Put it in the can, boys” after directing the scenes between Anakin

famously was arrested for indecent exposure in 1991—but... he exploded back onto the scene

I don't know what is happening in that picture but I saw Snow White maybe two months ago. The CGI on the Dwarves (or Miners as they call them) wasn't done, but they are the same characters from the original: Doc, Smeezy, etc. That image is not the Dwarves/Miners from the Snow White remake.

Rachel is still white, very white. There are white latine folks, you know.

They are so bad Wikipedia won't allow them to be used as a source.

I mean say what you will about the modern AV Club, they never ran a piece praising Nazi terror gangs.

Once again, conservative nitwits forget that they are supposed to pretend “anti-woke” doesn’t just mean “anti-black.”

It’s almost like the Daily Mail is a lying tabloid hack rage that exists to spread hate and that people should stop using it as a source for anything.

Look, in no way do I want to defend Disney, but you seem to have forgotten that the prequel movies exist, and they are far worse films than the sequels. You also seem to have forgotten Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I grew up on that movie, I could tell right away. I thought it was a clever additive to the scene.

Ugh, CHRIST. No. Absolutely not. The one thing that Star Wars consistently gets wrong is all of the goddamn connections and over-explaining. In a universe so big Star Wars constantly makes it feel small by having exactly the sort of crap you’re describing.
