I am sad to lose Fara, but I'd still choose Max if I had to. He's got more tenure on the show and has more opportunity for growth. Plus I hope that his continued existence brings Virgil back into the fold.

Hear, hear.
That gave me flashbacks to Quick Hardening Caulk. Once upon a time, the idea of Nick ironing a shirt would've made Jess instantly lustful.
I have told myself all along that they will end after season 7 (per the original plan with the ep title lengths), so I will only be happy if it extends beyond that. So few shows can maintain such a high level of quality for so long, so I have no doubt the Kings could keep it going. I just hope they also don't push it…
I do believe he said "hwetlands", too, which makes it all that much funnier.
In my heart of hearts, I want this show to end with Kalinda knocking on Cary's door after a year in hiding. The Kings could even be clever and roll it as an Easter egg after the credits, since you know Alicia will get the final scene…
I laughed so goddamned hard when the waitress put the candle on Alicia & Finn's table. Just…utterly perfect.
Claire Danes superlatives are a dime a dozen, but she was fantastic in this episode, particularly on the phone with Mira and at the exchange with Saul. She gets some flack for that cry face, but she showed a great deal of restraint and poignancy in both scenes. Really beautiful work from a fine actress.
At least we know it won't be a micropenis. Which, btw, I watched Catching Fire this weekend, and that dude was the tribute for District 1. All I could do was giggle.
Dressier stuff gets the gentle cycle treatment in my household.
I was thinking the same thing. Tide is used as a form of currency in some parts of our fine nation.
That is a complaint only a drunk person would think to make.
Ah…entirely possible that I missed that. Thanks!
Damnit. Nate was an asshole, but I'm still not over his death.
It would be quite Hollywood. I'm glad they didn't do the expected. Though, since you mentioned Mira….where the hell has she been? Does she even know Saul has been kidnapped? I guess all the action has been in Pakistan, so showing anything back in the States would slow the momentum, but I'm surprised she hasn't been…
Quinn seemed underwritten this episode. I honestly expected him to show a bit more concern in the hospital, and after Saul was recaptured. Other than his careful, calm demeanor in the mission room, every scene of his fell really flat.
I'll choose to believe in some comforting, PG-rated spoonage, as well. It makes everything better.
Am I crazy or were they implying that Carrie slept with Khan? I sure as hell hope he wouldn't have allowed that, because that would severely damage my gigantic crush on him and his beautiful hair and his beautiful accent.
I was ready to cry during the courtyard scene with Saul. I kept thinking, "tell him you love him, damnit, Carrie! Tell him he's a father to you!" I was already writing his eulogy in my head. I was handing Claire Danes the Emmy for delivering that eulogy.
IIRC, Tatyana was Cece's strange Russian model roomie.
