You believe anything Al Franken spouts off?

Yeah, seems only loosely inspired at best. If they put an actual PUBG mode into this game... well, I’d never play PUBG again. Bigger map, giant city, better graphics and performance, better gunplay. It’d be awesome. Though PUBG diehards would be annoyed at how accurate guns can be.

Unfortunately not doing the expected may piss off the higher ups like taro yako did with Drakengard. Squaresoft didn’t want a dark fantasy back then. I think his quirky pesonality fits American game developers more than japanese developers.
