I have an 18 year old cat that I’ve had since a kitten, and I 100% agree with you. He purrs every single day, but he wakes up disoriented, arthritic and he’s going deaf/blind.

My aunt rescues cats and kittens, and she chooses to rescue those with terminal illnesses rather than just have them put down. She believes that animals, like humans, have the right to pass on in their own terms.
