I’m a nanny, and my boss is a single mom who is a surgical resident. You could basically say we are the exact ladies who should miss work tomorrow.

I work at a Belgian university, and we (female staff) are on strike today too (for very obvious sexism-in-academia reasons). Happy international women’s day, ladies!

I plan on doing the same. I have class tomorrow night that is taught by a woman, and 9 of the 11 students are women. I am bringing coffee…

I like it better when by the end of the series Bella more or less took over the Cullen clan and lead them in a war against Michael Sheen and Dakota Fanning and the other pale people. And then they had a superhero battle that wasn’t in the books and so many people got killed even if it was all not real.

I am living proof that even girls from very religious families get abortions. Some of them use that as a catalyst to break away from their upbringing entirely (like I did) whereas others choose to terminate and continue to fight against other women’s right to do the same (“the only moral abortion is my abortion”).…
