YEP. I wanted to play Doom: Eternal for the story and scale. Easy mode let me absorb the story, lore, collectibles, etc., without repeatedly dying within five minutes.

I bought a sealed copy of Valkyrie Profile for PSX off ebay for way less than what it was worth. Then I opened it and played it like a savage ruining it’s collectible value forever! Mwahahahaha!!!

No regrets, it’s a great game.
