@7ucky: That really depends on the user and the content he/she downloads. I own the 80 Gb version and it is nowhere full, although I download many demos and ps one originals. Generally speaking, I think that 60/80 GB are enough nowadays to truly enjoy a gaming experience such as PSN's; unless you download movies,

@Ramza69: And the idea behind Image Comics was much much better than Valiant, Marvel or DC back in the day—to keep the rights of the characters/series you created. Sadly, the execution in some series was downright awful. Some parts of Spawn, The Darkness and Witchblade are the true gems.

I really like the message system, since it is not that friendly in the current version (your new messages gather some dust by the time you remember about them). The ability to have a quicker access to the PSN is definitely a welcome feature.

An extremely interesting move by Sony in terms of entertainment services (given that Microsoft already secured both facebook and last.fm). If you could download a hefty catalog of Marvel comics (including series such as House of M, Maximum Carnage or Civil War), it would mean an incredible experience for comic fans

Excellent, I welcome all the new users to which, in my opinion, is the best interactive experience this generation.

If there is a franchise that URGENTLY needs to be rebooted is Earthworm Jim. Perhaps it should not necessarily have to be a 3D game, but a 2.5 game (like the cancelled PSP version), could be interesting. I vote for Jim, and I vote for his reboot as well :)

Don't worry Gabe. PS3 owners have the likes of Insomniac, Guerrilla, Sucker Punch, Naughty Dog, Sony Santa Monica. So really, I do not think that they really miss Valve games.

@Rod_Z: LOL! good one

@mutedia: Hahahaha, while playing a Gears of War 2 match a young gamer said "What Doom are you talking about?" "A game based on the movie?". Everybody suddenly logged out from the gaming session, hehehehe. No kidding.

Carmack's guess is as good as anybody's guess in this matter, really. With the current economic weather, no publisher would want to invest more than $50 million dollars in development of new IP for the next generation. Moreover, people are starting to get the full HD set (in a very slow pace, again, due to the

@ReVivAL: hahhahahaa, good one

I hope it is a new IP. Bioshock was such a magnificent game.

It is the sad reality of a studio that relies heavily on Hollywood in order to gain presence in the industry. Strict due dates according to the films, an extremely controlled IP... Really... It is an interesting lesson... as tempting as it sounds working for Hollywood... refrain your studio from it until you achieve

@D Mitsuki : Gotta have guts kid!: Nobody was talking about games in general, just a type of market.. read carefully, write consciously, and then submit an opinion

@ryno365: Hehehe, a function that calls itself back. Clever, clever!

@Ueziel: Perhaps the shift in focus was not necessarily radical, but what

@Ueziel: You may call it whatever you want, but the one that started back in US arcades had to change its focus in order to survive. The same is true for Nintendo. Seriously, I do not think that moms will keep on playing wii fit for ages. Nintendo has already lost a significant share of "hardcore gamers". Sure, they
