At least they recognize their failures. I think that Nintendo will be extremely hurt by the time the casual bubble bursts. They are heading straight to their own 1983 crisis.

Interesting lists. I definitely agree with the "10 games to save 2009". By the way, I think that "saved" is somehow an understatement. Yes, 2009 may not be 2007 or even 2008 in terms of a Holiday line-up, but the year so far has seen the likes of inFamous/Prototype, Street Fighter IV, Blazblue, a considerable amount…
I hope the GOTY edition really pumps up the game sales of this incredible piece of art!! The LBP community desperately needs new "gadders" who create awesome experiences!!
That sounds like an exciting opportunity in terms of game design. Not just for the NPC, but it raises many questions—-how would you interact with him? how does he communicate with you? could there be a society of NPCs based on signing??? Geez... the story/game mechanic potential for this is enormous!! And extremely…
I'll be going through the evil Campaign in Infamous, a little bit of LBP and Patapon 2.
I really liked the stealth system based on detective vision, as well as the ability to study your enemies' emotions. It is an interesting mechanic that really evokes Batman's use of fear as a weapon. Perhaps the third punch in every combo is a little bit over the top, but fun nonetheless.
I'm sorry for the repeated messages, apparently there's a problem with kotaku's servers
Wow, based on what I've seen from concept art, this looks like an interesting MMO. I hope the game mechanics really shine on FF XIV (such as the level system, AI, foes, and real-time interaction). If that does happen, I'll be glad to get into the MMO fever.

Where's the article about Latinos and ethnic minorities!!?
@matraque: I'm with my second 360, but since I got the RRoD I completely stopped buying accesories, Gold memberships, point cards and games . I moved completely to Sony, and I don't miss Microsoft at all. Just one RRoD was the excuse to move to Sony. I'm death sure there are thousands of examples such as mine.
I definitely believe that there is still A LOT of time left in this generation. So far, the way in which PSN has evolved (in just 3 years!!!), the amount of incredible first-party support the PS3 is getting, and Blu-Ray winning the format war, are clear evidence of a bright future for Sony. Sure, it may become the…
The Darkness. Great game!!
Yesterday somebody said that this game was going to be like De Blob. I guess the rumors were true!!
aaaah, the beautiful realm of the "neverending game". Based on some comments, I also support the idea regarding World of Warcraft another type of "game" (yeah, MMO, but in a whole other league). By the time when a video game involves money, thousands of hours to dwelve into its layers, people dying due to their…
Since when Kotaku became a "Social Lifestyle" website?
I truly do not care whether it is for the Wii, PS3 or 360. Games such as No More Heroes and Madworld have demonstrated the Wii's ability to handle an interesting artistic style. Sure, you will not get a HD version of the game, but it is still worth the wait!!!
Everytime I see Jake as "The Prince" I can't but lmao. Terrible, terrible casting decision.
@Advent Chaos was Murdered by Ruri: It's a good idea, but what you will have in return is a movie directed by Eli Roth, with Timothy Oliphant as Cole, Tobin Bell as Keslser, Jorge Garcia as Zeke, the running time will be 70 minutes, and the Jonas Brothers wil perform a video in MTV dressed as Cole. That's what you'll…
